BLURR GODDZ
Four friends who think they’ll save the day
Well, they’re rude and they stink but they’ll never GO AWAY!
Spazztic Blurr’s got a brand new song
C’mon everybody, try to sing along, it goes NA-NA-NA-NA-NA (something like that)
Let me tell you how it all began
But first let’s try to sing together again
Now it’s story time…
Their spaceship was ready to chart the stars
To go where no band had ever gone
Flight preparations were almost done
Breakfast… lunch… I said LUNCH, NOT LAUNCH!! (Marco: “SORRY!)
Where in the world did the Blurr Hoggs go?
And how will they ever get back home?
Step right up, you won't believe your eyes
Spazztic Blurr left the world behind
KNEEL AT THE ALTAR OF THE BLURR GODZZ!!
Somehow they acquired worthless superpowers
Traveling the universe at a thousand miles an hour
Marco grew a dorsal fin - even though he cannot swim
Ryan drinks Dew for days and never has to take a piss - MARCO!!
Eric’s crappy magic ring shut down every Burger King
Mr. Slate hasn’t changed - not a single fucking thing
But we don’t give a shit, we like the way our costumes fit
Blurr is better and bigger…
As our stench lingers, you’ll get the middle finger
As we fly away in our spaceship

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
Quite a departure from the wild territories they ventured into with their major label releases. So far, the greatest thrash metal I've heard released in the 2020's. Plus, it's not everyday you hear Rhea Perlman on a metal record. t0cktock
Abigail Williams has had a weird career with hiatuses and lineup changes, but they have finally perfected their sound on Walk Beyond the Dark. This album has such a refreshing and natural feeling that makes it one of the top atmospheric black metal albums of recent years. Ryan
