THE NIGHT HE CAME-A HOME
He had to make things right and do it all alone
The night he came-a home
He slipped away one night aboard a flight to Rome…
And left behind his phone
He had to make things right…
End the dispute
An offer they can’t refuse
Bullets and grenades
In his Les Paul case
He’ll strike when no one sees
Like a rare disease
He’s settling a grudge
Now I’ve said too much
This is strictly business
Severed horse’s head on the pillow
They’ll sleep with the fishes
Bodies found shot dead in Monticello
The happy ending to this silent movie is a lie
And as the credits roll you’ll soon see we all die
Try to get a refund if you can
Rewinding it to where it all began
This is strictly business
Severed horse’s head on the pillow
They’ll sleep with the fishes
Bodies found shot dead in Monticello
Strangled with the wire of a piano
Unexpected death – LIKE CARLO
Vengeance on the night he came-a home

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae

Quite a departure from the wild territories they ventured into with their major label releases. So far, the greatest thrash metal I've heard released in the 2020's. Plus, it's not everyday you hear Rhea Perlman on a metal record. t0cktock

Abigail Williams has had a weird career with hiatuses and lineup changes, but they have finally perfected their sound on Walk Beyond the Dark. This album has such a refreshing and natural feeling that makes it one of the top atmospheric black metal albums of recent years. Ryan
